The NI Junior Men Against San Marino in Malta

Malta, 21 Mar 2008 - The Northern Ireland Junior Men's Team lost the opening round of the Junior European Championships in Malta today, losing 3-0 to San Marino.

The team had settled in well after arriving the previous day and had a good training session the night before. But the set scores in the 10am match gradually got better for the NI team: 16:25, 17:25, 20:25.

There is no rest for the team as their next match is tonight against the hosts Malta at 8:30pm.
